Rich has a 1971 B.B.A., cum laude, and 1972 M.B.A., cum laude, from Ohio University. He was with the Boston office of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCooopers) for seven years and left as an audit manager. His larger clients included Raytheon Company, City of Boston, insurance companies, not-for-profits and many Massachusetts towns, including the Town of Framingham. He left Coopers to become a leasing manager for five years with Raytheon Data Systems and did international contract negotiation.
He joined his twin in 1984 to form the current firm of Brauel & Brauel, LLP, CPA's in North Conway, NH. The practice includes the service industries of hotels and restaurants; various entrepreneurial businesses, including construction and manufacturing; not-for-profits, including Friends of Tuckerman and homeowner's associations; and various high and middle-income individuals. The businesses range in form from sole proprietorships to corporations. Services include bookkeeping, payroll, computer services, management consulting, financial mediation and tax and financial work.
He has been a board member and treasurer for two separate homeowners' associations and one commercial association for over twenty years. He is currently president of his roads and amenities association and president of his commercial office condominium association and treasurer of Friends. |
