Steve Eastman Volunteer Award
Award Criteria:
This annual award will be voted to a volunteer (not limited to FOTR members) who exemplifies the volunteering spirit so ably demonstrated by Steve Eastman during his lifetime.
To qualify for the award the prospective recipient shall have:
1. shown a selfless commitment to the Friends of Tuckerman,
2. exhibit a love for the ravine, the mountain, the backcountry experience and the environment in general,
3. demonstrate character which exemplifies integrity, perseverance, creativity and teamwork.
A subcommittee will choose the prospective recipient and make a recommendation to Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will then take action on the recommendation.
